Track Access
New access - now via Orchard Road:

From the main highway, go down Orchard Road. The Waitete Cafe is on your left and a little further past this on your right there is a bridge over the river. Go over the bridge and follow the driveway. Signs will direct you to the track from there.

The way to the track is through paddocks and over a couple of culverts. Most cars should be fine, but if you have a lowered car or low spoilers it might pay to park just off the road and walk.

Competition
Saturday is practice day, with racing on the Sunday.  We will try to start races by 10am sharp - we should be finished by lunchtime. This should help avoid some of the heat and also gives anyone that wants to a chance to go to the Mine Open Day (Sunday, gates open 10am to 4pm).

  • $10 per rider to ride for the weekend.
  • All riders need to register and sign a waiver form.
  • All riders need to be fully kitted out when riding.

Grooming
The tracks in reasonable shape at the moment (thanks again to those who have helped with it this summer). If you can bring some tools though, feel free to groom away!)

Accommodation
The Waihi Motor Camp is a great place to stay and is very close to the track.
